After a busy summer for members of the Wheaton Chapter, we started our fall events with our annual golf outing and luncheon. “Playing ‘Fore’ the Kids” took place on September 8th at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton. The day started with a shotgun golf tournament, followed by a delicious lunch during which fun prizes were awarded and guests could bid for a wonderful variety of raffle baskets. We had outstanding support from the Wheaton community, and we cannot thank them enough. A big round of applause goes to our Chairman, Karen Patton, for her outstanding efforts. Our members work hard making this a successful event each year.

Our Luminaria Chairmen, Dorne McLuckie, Elaine Luse and Laura Gates Keogh, are busy preparing for our Luminaria sales that are scheduled for December 10th, 11th and 12th.

Clarice Loiacono, an honorary member and the owner of “Clarice’s Creating Beautiful Looks,” once again did a fantastic job representing our Chapter in Wheaton’s 4th of July Parade by designing a wonderful float showcasing our December Luminaria sale. We truly appreciate Clarice’s generous support of the Wheaton Chapter and the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago.
