The Oak Brook Chapter regards every Mistletoe Medley as special, but our 2011 event has particular significance because this year marks IWS’ centennial. Since 1911, the Clinic has been providing care for Chicago’s women and children in need, and we are particularly excited about this special celebratory Mistletoe Medley!
Our Martini Medley Preview Party on Monday, November 28th at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace promises to be the perfect kick-off to a great holiday season. Guests will be treated to sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and dessert buffets, a complimentary beverage and a free martini tasting courtesy of SavWay Fine Wines and Spirits. Attendees will also have the opportunity to preview our fantastic Mistletoe Medley Preferred and Grand Raffles as well as our Gift Boutique featuring a wide array of items from 40 vendors.
Mistletoe Medley begins at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29th. The Gift Boutique offers unique and distinctive merchandise in the nick of time for your holiday shopping. Our luncheon begins at noon. We’re delighted that Allison Rosati, an anchor from NBC 5 News in Chicago, will once again serve as the Honorary Chairman and Mistress of Ceremonies. Following lunch, our guests will enjoy a fantastic fashion show presented by Zzazz Productions that will showcase the best in fashion from both Chicago and local retailers.
This year’s raffle prizes are sensational. We are particularly excited to be offering a $5,000 Cash Raffle, thanks to the generosity and support of our longtime donors, Joe and Nives Rizza. Our Preferred Raffle features 12 phenomenal packages. Prizes include: round trip, main cabin air transportation for two to London, England courtesy of American Airlines. A one-week stay in sunny Mexico for four is sure to tempt our guests, as is a $500 shopping spree at Neiman Marcus/Oakbrook Center. Other great prizes include a magnificent pearl and diamond necklace, American Girls dolls, a Make Me Over Spa Experience for 11 at Mario Tricoci Salon and Day Spa, sports tickets, dining certificates and more.
“Grand” is the perfect way to describe our Grand Raffle that features round trip, main cabin air transportation for two to any American Airlines/American Eagle destination anywhere in the Continental United States, Mexico or the Caribbean. Other prizes include Bulls tickets, hotel stays, jewelry, a Mexican getaway, entertainment packages and spa experiences among others.
Those who purchase raffle tickets before November 18th will be eligible for a special Early Raffle Drawing prize, a lovely Tiffany & Co. sterling silver necklace featuring a large heart lock on a 20”chain.
Tickets for the Preview Party are $40 each. Mistletoe Medley tickets are priced at $75 per person. Premier Tables are available for purchase at $1,500 each. Premier tables include seating for 12 guests, a bottle of champagne and one centerpiece. Please make these reservations early, as seating is limited.
