Barrington Chapter members recently met to plan our yearly holiday party. This year’s event will be held at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer on December 8th. The festive event will include fantastic raffles, silent auction items, gift certificates and boutique shopping. The timing is perfect for selecting great gifts for friends and family. This popular benefit has more than doubled in size over the past several years.
During the holiday party, our members will be modeling fashions from Peter Daniels, a boutique located in the Ice House Mall in Barrington. Deer Park’s York Furrier will also showcase its gorgeous furs modeled by our own member models.
In other news, a fun day at the Arlington Park Racetrack is being planned for our members and IWS friends and supporters. This luncheon event is planned for July 29 at noon. Last year, our group placed a winning bet during our day at the races that resulted in a $65 contribution to Infant Welfare. We hope our luck holds this year as well!
