a legacy of caring
Since 1913, just 2 years after the founding of the Infant Welfare Society, the Auxiliary has been a stalwart partner in the Society’s mission. For nearly 100 years our fundraising efforts have provided a constant and reliable source of funds, helping to ensure that all babies have a healthy start in life. We are the single largest contributor to the Infant Welfare Society, contributing tens of millions of dollars over the years.
With 15 chapters and more than 750 members, the Auxiliary encompasses a broad geographic spectrum with a presence in the northern, southern and western suburbs, as well as the city itself. Our Auxiliary members are talented and accomplished community leaders, committed to providing children with a healthy foundation for a productive life.
